During this period of time I was desiring to use some of the melodic themes I had written in a more symphonic situation, possibly even transferring the notes to a finale program to have them written out for others to read. In the end I came to Doc Holiday's Studio and we began to work together spontaneously and came up with this recording. One of the pieces has a 10 minute solo piano segment recorded at Sony Studios in Nashville added into the overdubs. This is one of my favorite albums especially in the way the compositional themes move around and the different sounds of the keyboard allowed for me to use instrumentation of my choosing. Make no mistake everything on this album is improvisation.
