This was Anthony Mirabile's last recording with me before he passed away. Doc Holiday, who was associated with the Grammys, was able to get it onto the ballot and the recording received quite a bit of praise from many of the Grammy voters.
I particularly liked the playing. It was very relaxed and expressed the beautiful connection and relationship of friendship I had over many years with Anthony Mirabile. The title refers to the idea that although there are beautiful melodies that we all know and hear they can be elaborated upon in an infinite amount of ways.
