Recorded in 1991 at the original Knitting Factory on Houston Street, New York City during the "What is Jazz? Festival."

Recording engineer: John Rosenberg
Mastering and cover design: Carl Baugher
Cover painting: Steve Cohn

Fred Hopkins - bass
William Parker - bass
Steve Cohn - piano, shakuhachi, hichiriki, shofar, khaen and percussion

This concert was the last of the trio with Thurman Barker and Fred Hopkins. Thurman was unable to make it and Fred suggested, "Let's use William Parker--two basses and yourself." Of course I said,"Sure."
